Join us for an informal evening of storytelling, poetry reading, and humour by professional and amateur writers, poets, and storytellers during Spoken Word, 8 to 10 p.m. at the Walter Petryschuk Turret Room, Lawrence House Centre for the Arts, 127 Christina Street South, Sarnia, Ontario [phone 519-337-0507].
Share your own work, read the work of your favorite writer, or just sit back and enjoy this open mic event scheduled for the last Friday of every month except December, July and August.

Seems that after some inspired planning by the executive, as well as a number of members, the critique groups are now ready to operate effectively. Thanks to all involved. A special thank you to Ruth Zavitz for her hours of work on this project.
You’re right, John. It was because of Ruth’s caring for the health of her critique group that this change came about. Now we’ve got the new group born, Buddy has been giving a lot of his time to getting it off to a healthy start. So he gets a special thank-you as well.
