Love the new blog. As Richard says posting is easy.

  2. Valerie Hahn says:

It’s hard to comment because there isn’t any real content, just events. Why don’t you pose a problem or an intro to a story for feedback or something or a creative exercise for people to get involved in?

  3. @Valerie, thank you for making that comment. You’re absolutely right.

Posting events is easy. Posting provocative, involving topics is hard.

    What topic would interest you?

  4. Valerie Hahn says:

Okay… let’s post creative intros and get creative feedback as to where they could go… you know, have fun with it. Post ‘I wonder questions’ or thougtful timelines for the story, predict the ending -as wild as it may be…

  5. Mary-Anne Maloney says:

Attended my first meeting last night and I was quite intimidated by the idea.
Thank you to everyone who was so welcoming and encouraging. I had a great evening, learned much from the speaker and am thoroughly enthused after meeting some members.
My membership cheque is in the mail today šŸ™‚

    Great Opening Lines

It was the best of times. It was the worst of times…. – Charles Dickens, A Tale of Two Cities.

    Anyone have other memorable openings?

  7. It was a bright cold day in April, and the clocks were striking thirteen.

What is that the first line of?

It’s more fun if you have to guess.

  8. James Anderson says:

1984 by George Orwell. A great idea to guess the lines.

What are you thinking?
